All though the purists often go for the coupe version of the classic 911 the targa version definitely has some merits of its own. Time has proven the targa concept to be quite genius compared to a open cabriolet. The collapsible roof piece easily folds away and finds its place under the front boot and driver and passenger have the full open air experience, but without the considerable draft from behind that often accompany a drive in an open car. In addition it gives less wind noise compared to a soft top when closed and seals better against rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This superb 911 has the rare options as Sportomatic transmission and air condition. All matching numbers and colors in the quite gorgeous color combo of gazelle metallic with tan leather.It has been subject to the most comprehensive and professional restoration job imaginable. Body, engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes, interior and every, component and nut and bolt on this car have been closely inspected, measured and either changed or restored to as new condition. The work was carried out under supervision and close scrutiny of experienced Porsche employees and finished off by a 2,500 km break-in and adjustment run.  Like new with very low original mileage and only 2,631 break-in km since total restoration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
