P.O.A.
The 911S was the top version of Porsche during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Charismatic and unconventional, it remains one of the most timeless sports car designs ever created. This light vehicle, paired with a powerful and eager engine, quickly became a legend. The first generation—the “F-model” – possesses a sense of lightness and purity that subsequent 911 iterations have gradually lost, as they have grown larger, heavier, and more complex.
The 1969 model year marked a significant evolution: the wheelbase was extended by 57 mm, and the engine was equipped with the now legendary mechanical fuel injection system. Output from the 2.0-liter engine increased to 170 bhp. Given the car’s weight of just over 1,000 kg, it delivers plenty of punch, especially once you push past 3,500 rpm.
This specific car was delivered new to Italy in July 1969. In 1995, it was imported to the Netherlands, where it remained for a long period under the ownership of the proprietors of Gallery Aaldering, before being acquired by Carrera Classic in Finland in 2012. Between then and 2018, the car underwent a comprehensive, top level restoration, well documented in a Classic Data report (Condition 1 / €236,000). The car comes with a complete history file, when the current Danish owner purchased it in 2019, the odometer reading was 137,040 km.
This 911S is a documented “matching numbers” as well as “matching colors” example, finished in the iconic Blutorange (Blood Orange). Everything is original, with the exception of a modern ignition distributor and the sports seats – though the original seats, which are in perfect condition, are also included. The car also comes with full documentation – to an extent only very rarely seen.
The current owner uses the car for the very purpose for which it was originally intended: long-distance touring across Europe, including visits to and driving at Spa-Francorchamps. Last a recent trip covering over 4,000 km to the Goodwood Revival and Southern England was a perfect journey. Significant sums have been invested in maintenance, including a complete overhaul of the mechanical fuel pump in 2025. With 154,192 km on the odometer, the car has never performed better and remains in superb condition. Driving a properly set-up 911S offers a quintessential classic driving experience, drawing smiles and admiration wherever it goes. It is easy to understand why early 911s are considered as perhaps the most well-rounded classic sports cars of all time. Features include light, precise steering, effective brakes, and—above all—a fabulous air-cooled flat-six engine that carries the legacy of decades of motorsport. The car comes with Danish registration documents and is ready for a new enthusiast who demands the very best.
