Alfa Romeo 2000 GT Veloce – 1971

In our almost 15 years as Alfa enthusiasts, we have managed to come across a 2000 GT Veloce in such an original and pristine condition like this on only three occasions. To see and experience this car is like walking into an Alfa Romeo dealership in the late seventies and look at a well cared for GT that has seen only light use. Apart from one re-spray in mid 80s, this car virtually stands as it left the factory in Arese in 1971. All trim and chrome parts on the car are the originals. Right down to carpets and original Michelin XAS 165, even on the spare wheel.

This car sold new in Switzerland and has had three owners from new. The first one older gentleman, Fritz Jordi (born 1915)  had it for the first 10 years after which it was purchased by Katharina Fiechter (born 1956) in 1981, who owned it until 2006 when it was bought by a Danish collector.

The Swiss are thorough and careful people, why all the documentation is available on the car, including the ownership and speedo guaranteed at 85,000 KM. Neither the engine or transmission has ever been tampered with and everything on the car works perfectly. It has all documents from new, including the service book, manual etc. in the original leather portfolio. The original sales brochure is available. The two original keys, tool kit and jack are of course not missing either.

Here is a rare opportunity to acquire a regular time warp. It is a motoring experience of the rare, to sit behind the wheel and experience or relive how nice a car Alfa’s beautiful little GT really was when it was almost new.  We would be happy to arrange shipping of this gem to anywhere a new discerning owner might wish.
