A very nice example of the 2000 GT Veloce. This car originates from Nice were it has spent most of its life and after a few years ownership in Luxemburg it came to Denmark. The mild climate at the French Riviera has been gentle to this car. The Danish owner took it to our perhaps most esteemed workshop for classic Italian cars here in Denmark, Skallebølle Auto for a total service. Very little rust was found which was professionally made after bead blasting the areas and properly primed after the repair. The car received a high quality repaint in its original Grigio metalizzato. All outside stainless steel trim like lists, bumpers etc. are polished to a high shine.
All the mechanical parts were inspected and serviced including rebuilding the gearbox with new syncromeshes, seals, many bushings and ball joints in suspension and steering is renewed as is the brakes. The engine got a comprehensive tune-up including rebuilding the distributor, new ignition parts, carburetors taken apart, cleaned and assembled with new gaskets etc. A compression test was done and a drive now confirms a car in top condition. Documentation for all this is available upon viewing the car as is earlier files from France and Luxemburg.
Interior is the original and as close to perfect as it gets. Wheels are period correct 14″ GTA style alloys. With this 2000 GT Veloce a new owner will get a Bertone in mint condition mechanically as well as cosmetically. Everything is sorted out on this car and absolutely nothing remains to be fixed.
