The 2000 version of the famous Bertone Coupe is considered by many to be the best choice if you really want to use the car and enjoy driving. It benefit as the final development of the 105 series cars with all the technical upgrades.
This really nice example of one of the classics that is closest to our hearts. This car was originally sold on the US market and had a complete restoration carried out in 2007 (both body and all mechanical parts), which is documented among others in a major article in a US Classic Car magazine. The car still appears very nicely and the combination of silver paint and black leather interior is timeless and a nice combination for this pocket GT.
The 2000 engine with its higher torque than the less powerful 1600 and 1750 engines pulls strongly and nicely throughout the revs and together with limited slip differential and a higher final ratio of the transmission you have a car that is equally at home on country roads as highways. This example has Weber carburetors installed instead of the Spica fuel system standard on the US market. This provides the car with the real Alfa sound to listen to the induction noise under acceleration.
The black interior is kept original and is in very good condition. The periodic correct Stilauto wheels fit really well and complete the picture of a nice “pocket” GT from a golden time for Alfa Romeo.
