Alfa Romeo 2000 GT Veloce – 1975

The last and most developed generation of Alfa’s compact Gran Turismo car of the 1960’es. 2 liter engine with 131 BHP, bigger front brakes and limited slip differential sets it apart from its earlier siblings. The beautiful lines from a young Giugiaro at Bertone combined with the brilliant technique of chief engineer Carlo Chiti has made this little jewel one of the most sought after classic Italian GT cars of all time. It delivers maybe 90% of what its bigger contemporaries from Maserati, Ferrari and Lamborghini does when it comes to class and style, but at a small fraction of the costs. Its impeccable racing pedigree only adds to the aura that oozes from this beautiful little GT.

This 2000 went through a full restoration 2 years ago. The car was taken completely apart to empty body shell. All paint removed and the shell was sandblasted. After all rusty parts was changed and repaired it received a full treatment of primer, sealer and paint and finished off inside and out in the classic Alfa Rosso 501.

Mechanics are also rebuilt with a lot of new parts in brakes, suspension, steering and drive line. Engine fully rebuilt with new bearings, new pistons and liners, valves, valve guides, timing gear, ignition etc. Gearbox with new synchros, seals etc.

Interior is all new in black leather made to measure after original patterns by professional upholsterer. The car sits on new 6.5 x 14″ GTA style alloys with new tires.

We have a lot of photo documentation from the restoration process that of course together with other documentation comes with the car. With EU papers (Danish title) there is no additional tax or VAT to pay at import to other EU member states. This is a drop-dead gorgeous Bertone GT has since restoration only seen one summer season on the road and ready to be enjoyed for many years to come.
