Car is sold thank you
An old friend of the house has returned – we renovated this car back in 2010 and have followed it since then. Originally from Sweden and following the renovation it went to Dublin. After a couple of years we were offered the car and as we knew all about the quality of the work done we did not hesitate and bought it at once. We collected the car in Dublin and drove it back home through England, Belgium, Holland and Germany in less than 2 days. The car drove like a dream with march speed of 140-150 kmh all the way. Back in our shop we are now able to offer this fine 2 litre Bertone coupe once again.
The car presents beautifully in the classic Alfa color “Blu Pervinga” and the bright leather interior has small traces of use but is still very nice. And the car drives well – as it always did. The 2000 engine with more torque than the smaller 1600 and 1750 versions pulls evenly and strongly throughout the revs and together with the LSD and a higher final ratio the car is at home on country roads as well as high ways. Transmission, brakes and steering work splendidly and the car is an absolute joy to drive. The 2000 version is the right choice if you wish to drive longer stretches with its bigger torque, which gives you a more relaxed crusing also at speed.
All in all we have a nice “Pocket GT” from a golden period of Alfa Romeo. Attractively priced it is ready to provide joy and pleasure for its new owner.
