Compared with the mainstream competion from MG, Triumph and Fiat the Alfa Romeo Spider was the choice of the discerning buyer. 2 liter alloy engine with double overhead camshafts, 2 twin choke carburetors, 5-speed gearbox, disc brakes on all 4 wheels and on the 2 liter Veloce version also bigger brakes and 25% limited slip differential were all specs beyond the capability of especially the British sportscars.
We collected this 2000 Veloce ourselves in Paris some 15 years ago. 3 years ago it was given a full quality respray in its original silver metallic, new black leather upholstry, new soft top and a lot of new mechanical parts. The car is now back in our stables in excellent condition and it drives superb. Engine and gearbox is perfect, body very healthy and the car present itself quite beautiful. Given a fresh service by us this car is now ready for a new owner to enjoy.
