Jaguar E-Type 4.2 FHC – 1971

This 4.2 Liter E-Type has just finished a frame-off restoration. The car was completely taken apart to empty body shell and restored from ground up. The result is car which probably has better fit on doors, boot and bonnet than ever. The body and sub-frame has all paint removed to bare metal and the new the paintjob in Old English White is to a very high quality.

Mechanically almost every part in suspension, brakes, steering etc has been changed. New exhaust in stainless steel. The original engine and gearbox was in excellent condition and went back in the car and received a complete service on ignition, carburetors, fuel lines and of course all fluids and filters.

Interior is all new black leather and made by a professional upholsterer. Head lining and carpets are also new. New 6 X 15″ wire wheels with new tires.

This is one of the last of the Series 2 E-types. It was originally a Florida car and came to Denmark in 1987. Since then it has only has 1 Danish owner. We have a very comprensive photo documentation on the restoration of this fully matching numbers E-type.
