Lancia Beta Coupe – 1976

The Beta was the first new model after Fiat took over Lancia in 1969. The little Fulvia had sold well but was expensive to produce. By using some Fiat component Lancia managed to get production costs down while still maintaining the high quality Lancia was known for. The elegant coupe was introduced about one year after the 4 door Berlina and weighed in at about 100 kg lighter. The magnificent Lampredi cambelt driven twin cam engine was a perfect fit for the 1000 kg agile coupe and motor journalists everywhere was thrilled.

This is the version with the biggest engine, the 2 liter with 117 BHP, 5-speed gearbox and the nice to have power steering. Originally registered in Italy it came through Germany and now to Denmark. We took the exterior of the car apart with all trim, windows, lights etc. off. The body was then sanded down and necessary panel work was performed. Then a high quality paint job in original Lancia silver that we find suits the car very well. Interior is original and well preserved and mechanical the car is in very good condition. The powerful 2 liter engine pulls well and road holding is brilliant in this little elegant Italian coupe.
