Porsche 911 2.4T Targa – 1973

Its not easy to find an unrestored classic Porsche in top condition. This beautiful 911 2.4T is a 2 owner car maintained all its life and sensibly upgraded with attention to originality and on a ‘no expense spared’ approach. The first California owner had this car from new to 2007! The 2nd (Danish) owner bought the car directly from 1st owner.

It is the last of the sought after ‘F’ series (1968-73). As a late 1973 2.4T it is the first 911 with the Bosch K-Jetronic injection  from the later ‘G’-series. This adds 10 BHP compared to the carburettor version and also makes the engine very smooth and flexible. This 2.4T was delivered from factory with the full ‘S’ package: Suspension, brakes, front spiler, forged Fuchs wheels and the Recaro bucket seats, that even on the ‘S’ was an expensive option.

Years ago the car was repainted once in its original Silver Metal. The interior was renewed with new leather on seats, new carpets, pockets in door sides, seat bealts, RS steering wheel, etc. All to original specifications.

New period correct Michelin tires are fitted. Stainless steel exhaust and heat exhangers. All flex hoses and rubber hoses are new. Hydraulic (Carrera) chain tensioners, gearbox rebuilt, european headlights, european speedometer in KM. Less than 2.000 km ago the car received a large authorized engine service at Porsche Denmark.

The car has full matching numbers (body-engine-gearbox). The body was never welded and is totally without rust.

We could point out more details that reflects that this car was owned, not only for 34 years by its first dedicated owner, but also by one of the most experienced Danish experts on Porsche 911. During the latest years we have had the pleasure of dealing with many fine 911, but this one has definately made an impression. This 2.4T Targa is absolutely pristine and a pure delight in every sense and detail.
