This beautiful GTAm recreation was built 2 years ago but has never been raced. To break the engine in we did however spent a weekend on the Danish circuit of Padborg Park burning some 60 liters of fuel and the car drove prefect.
Engine: 2 litre, high comp JE pistons, con-rods lightned and shot peened, crank balanced, C&B cams, Dellorto 45 DRLA, 4-2-1 exhaust manifold with adapted exhaust system, larger valves and flowed. Output around 180 hp and very durable.
Gearbox is Bacci Nanni with long 1’st and close ratio. Rear axle is 2000 modified 8/41 with 40% LSD
Body is based on a Belgium donor car with no rust. Painted inside out. Sparco roll-cage, GRP GTAm fenders nicely fitted with visible alu rivets. Front & rear bonnet in GRP. Doors in steel but lightned. Alu frames fitted to doors with sliding windows. Rear window in polycarbonate. All assembled with a high finish.
Brakes: Brembo alu calipers front, ATE standard rear, front discs ventilated, rear solid, pads Ferodo DS3000, adjustable brake bias valve, steel braided hoses all over.
Suspension: upper adjustable steering arm front, stiffer front stabilisor, bielstein dampers front, yellow Koni rear, 2,25” springs adjustable front, stiffer springs rear. Wheels are 8×13” GTAm in gold fitted with Avon Racing tires.
Auxiliary equipment: Central Sparco extinguisher system, prepared for timing equipment, external switch for power cut off and fire ext. Facet fuel pump, racing alu fuel tank in the rear, racing battery in the rear.
