Morgan Plus 8 – 1972

Its blend of vintage appearance and abundance of power makes a Morgan +8 quite unique. The Morgan is not a car for everyone, but for those where the joy of motoring at its purest overshadows the lack of comfort, the +8 certainly is hard to beat. The barmy idea of fitting a V8 in the classic Morgan roadster chassis was typical for the 1960s and with this simple recipe Morgan suddenly found itself producing the fastest accelerating car in England at that time.

This car was delivered new in Stockholm, Sweden and with two Swedish owners and one recent Danish owner; it is believed that the odometer showing of 62.000 km is correct. The exterior sand is a correct Morgan color. The dash board has had some subtle modifications where the factory fitted cheap looking plastic rocker switches has been substituted with quality toggle switches in a circular polished piece of stainless steel sheet.

This matching numbers +8 has been meticulously maintained and serviced by its Danish owner who enjoyed it on long summer tours on the European continent including those spectacular passes in the Alps. It is on the button ready for a new owner and needs nothing.
