Porsche 911 2.4S – 1972

We have had the pleasure of dealing with many fine classic F-series 911 Porsches during the last couple of years (see our Sold Cars section here on our website). This 2.4 S however – is in a league of its own.

Delivered new in Italy it came via France to Denmark in 2007. It was basically a healthy car and could be used as it was. The Danish owner, a keen 911 collector and specialist did however want to encompass all his experience and knowledge about these fine sportscars into one ultimate sample that set everyting else in the shadows. So he commenced a full restoration.

A specialist workshop in northern Germany did all the body work and painting. Engine was rebuilt by Christoph Schlagenhauf and his team at Boxermotor.de. Gearbox was inspected and found to be in excellent condition and therefore only received a proper cleaning and new oil. The fitting and detailing was done by the owner himself. The car has done less than 1.500 km since restoration and the engine is not fully broken in yet. Total mileage from new is 132.000 KM. You will find pictures from the restoration process by following the link here.

The car has full matching numbers on both engine and gearbox. The paintjob was done to an extremely high standard in the correct Bahia red (code 022). Interior as new with correct Pepita fabric on seats. Every detail on this car has been refurbished with outmost attention to originality and where new parts where needed only original Porsche parts were used.

This 1972 2.4S Ölklapp is quite simply gorgeous and will match any car on the market, regardsless of price. We welcome any inspection and can arrange world wide shipping.
